Meet Katie!

Hello! I am so happy you are here. Welcome to my little corner of the internet. Here you will find health and wellness information for women over 40. My passion is taking a very complicated topic (like your health) and breaking down the information into small, sustainable changes you can make to transform your health to live the healthiest, most vibrant version of your life.
I write about nutrition, exercise (I am an avid runner), mindset, stress management, and clean beauty. My goal with this blog is to help women feel empowered when it comes to their health and happiness.
I have a bachelor’s degree in public health and a master’s degree in education. I taught third grade for 16 years and I am currently a ELS teacher to middle and high school students. I have been a teacher for over 18 years and I have the “teacher’s look” to prove it. You know, the one where I can just look at someone from across the room when they are acting ridiculous and they will stop.
My love of teaching and health led me to starting my health coaching business. While I no longer work with clients, I share health and wellness information through my blog. I love nothing more than teaching women how to regain control of their health, with a focus on food choices, daily movement habits, and stress management so they can feel their best. I know firsthand how challenging it is to live a healthy lifestyle while juggling the demands placed on women. My philosophy revolves around making small, sustainable habit changes in order to live a healthy life while still having fun.
